Back on Orford Ness again. No matter how many times I visit, what always strikes about the Ness is the emptiness. One can only imagine how isolated those who once worked here must have felt, especially during the winer months.
On this occasion, for whatever reason, inspiration was hard to find, as sometimes happens. This somewhat minimal scene seemed to illustrate the feelings of emptiness.
